My Story
My name is Laura Diaz, I was born in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico. At the age of eight, I moved to San Antonio, Texas. The transition was extremely difficult, I had to immerse myself in a new culture and a new language.
Growing up, I faced significant childhood traumas that left lasting impacts on my sense of self and emotional well-being. Those experiences taught me what it feels like to navigate pain, confusion, and loneliness without the support I so desperately needed. They also sparked something profound within me—a desire to understand and heal. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a therapist, someone who could provide the safety, guidance, and compassion that I longed for as a child. Those early challenges shaped my path and continue to inspire the work I do every day to help others heal and grow.
I am now a proud wife and mother, working every day to break generational cycles of trauma and pain within my own family. It hasn't always been easy, but it's been deeply meaningful. I continue to nurture my own roots, striving to grow and become the best version of myself-for me, my family, and the legacy of healing I hope to create.
